African Blockchain Begins

Lisk Incubation Hub, Lisk and CV Labs’ AfricanBlockchain Incubator, has officially started!

We are excited to announce that the Lisk Incubation Hub, Lisk and CV Labs’ African Blockchain Incubator, has officially started! Over the next four months, 23 selected startups, brimming with innovative ideas, will dive into an extensive hands-on curriculum designed to help them build and scale their projects. We are focusing on the African continent, aiming to break the barriers that African technology entrepreneurs face, such as limited access to financing and expert mentorship.

 On the Program

In the upcoming weeks, our startups will dive into a series of meticulously designed modules aimed at enhancing their blockchain solutions and steering them towards investor readiness. Each module is tailored to equip the startups with in-depth knowledge and practical skills
necessary for constructing a compelling pitch deck, setting them on the path to securing investments and achieving market success.

Through mentorship, resources, and expert guidance, we aim to support these startups from ideation to implementation. We're also focused on building a strong network by connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts, thereby creating a robust community thatsupports growth and innovation.

Program Structure

The program is divided into two comprehensive blocks, each covering a range of topics designed to get these startups investor-ready.

Block 1: Essentials
In the first block, we focus on the essentials, providing the startups with the tools and
knowledge they need to start building their projects. Here are the four key objectives:

  1. Introduction and Orientation: An overview of the Lisk African Incubator Program,
its structure, goals, and an introduction to the Lisk ecosystem.

  2. Fundamentals of Pitching and Market Analysis: Guidance on creating an effective pitch deck, analyzing competitors, and understanding market potential.

  3. Defining Value Propositions and Customer Segments: Identifying and articulating
the unique value their project offers and defining their target customer segments.

  4. Building a Viable Business Model and MVP: Developing a sustainable token economy, financial modeling, and hands-on workshops focused on building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

Milestone: At the end of Block 1, startups will present their progress, and those who successfully complete this phase will be eligible for grants to support their continued development.

Block 2: Advanced Topics
The second block delves into more advanced topics, helping startups refine their strategies
and prepare for market entry and fundraising. Here are the four key objectives:

  1. Achieving Product Market Fit and Go-to-Market Strategy: Ensuring their product meets market needs, developing effective marketing strategies, and creating a detailed technical roadmap.

  2. Advanced Tokenomics and Legal Foundations: Diving deeper into token economics, understanding legal considerations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  3. Community Building and Fundraising: Strategies for building and nurturing a Web3 community, preparing for fundraising, understanding different funding options, and defining their ask.

  4. Strategic Partnerships and Final Pitch Preparation: Identifying and forming strategic partnerships, refining their pitch for final presentations, and preparing for Demo Day.
