Through their blockchain-enabled platform, users can earn PURGE tokens for reporting pollution with GPS-tagged photos and participating in cleanup events. These tokens are not just digital rewards - they can be used in AquaPurge's eco-friendly marketplace, staked for future returns, or utilized for decision-making within their DAO. In Kenya, AquaPurge has hosted over 22 cleanup events, removing more than 5,400 kilograms of trash. These events don't just clean up coastlines; they engage communities, foster environmental awareness, and create a tangible sense of impact. Partnerships with organizations like Kenya Wildlife Services and local youth groups have made these efforts even more powerful. Scaling globally remains a challenge, but AquaPurge is expanding through ambassador programs and partnerships to bring their model to new regions while maintaining local relevance.

Egreen Concept: Affordable Solar Energy Through Blockchain

Egreen Concept is redefining how renewable energy is funded and accessed. By tokenizing solar projects, they allow individuals to co-invest in clean energy without the financial burden of large upfront costs.  Each token represents a contribution to a solar installation, and blockchain technology ensures transparency by tracking every transaction, investment, and impact metric on the Lisk network. Egreen also facilitates peer-to-peer energy trading, where users can buy and sell solar tokens directly, creating a decentralized and accessible energy marketplace. Despite challenges like regulatory hurdles and integrating blockchain with traditional systems, Egreen continues to make renewable energy more affordable and inclusive. Their ability to track metrics like carbon reductions and households powered helps them communicate their impact effectively and build trust with stakeholders.
